The two companies marked the occasion with a ceremonial handshake on Oct. 20, 2026, the first day of the VST ECS CXO Tech Summit 2026 at Shangri-La Boracay. The new lines join the Exos enterprise drives VST ECS already distributes in the country. Joyce Lim, ASEAN Business Lead for the brand, joined VST ECS executives on stage: Angela Go, Director and Vice President for Operations; Cherry Centeno, First Vice President and Group General Manager, Value Business; and Ana Aliamante, Sales and Marketing Manager, Network Technology Group 4.
The move comes as Philippine businesses depend more on round-the-clock storage. Video-imaging and analytics systems are now standard in malls, offices, warehouses and schools, often with AI analytics on top. More firms also rely on NAS systems to centralize and manage business data as part of broader data-protection and resilience strategies. Purpose-built drives such as SkyHawk and IronWolf drives are designed for the workload and operating requirements of video and NAS environments.
SkyHawk AI drives are designed for AI video analytics systems and can support up to 64 HD cameras and 32 additional AI streams. IronWolf Pro drives are built for commercial and enterprise RAID storage solutions of up to 24 bays and workloads of up to 550TB a year. Both lines offer capacities of up to 32TB, run 24/7, and come with a five-year limited warranty and three years of Rescue Data Recovery Services.
